Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 6, 2026

Home Project Direct is a website operated by AlphaPrime Consulting, LLC, doing business as 717 Consulting Group. In this policy, “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to that business.

This policy describes how we collect, use, and disclose information when you visit homeprojectdirect.com, including our articles, advertorials, and landing pages, or contact us about this website. Client websites and subdomains with their own privacy notices are governed by those notices. This policy does not automatically cover separately operated client sites.

For privacy questions or requests, email info@717consultinggroup.com.

1. Information we collect

Information you provide

If you email us or otherwise contact us, we receive your email address, any name you provide, and the contents of your message. If we offer a newsletter or other signup feature and you choose to subscribe, we may collect the information requested by that feature, such as your email address and name.

Information collected through your visit

Our hosting, analytics, advertising, and affiliate tools may collect IP addresses, cookie or device identifiers, browser and operating system information, approximate location derived from an IP address, referring URLs, campaign parameters, and information about your activity. Activity information can include pages viewed, links clicked, scroll depth, and elapsed time on a page. These details may qualify as personal information under applicable law.

Advertising and affiliate links may include click IDs, source identifiers, and sub-IDs used for attribution and reporting. When provided by an affiliate partner, we may also receive information about attributed transactions and commissions. Purchases made on a merchant’s website are handled by that merchant, not through checkout on Home Project Direct.

2. How we use information

3. How we share information

We disclose information to, or allow collection by, hosting and technical providers, analytics providers, advertising platforms, and affiliate networks or merchants as needed for the purposes described here. These providers may include Netlify, Google, Meta, Taboola, and affiliate partners using platforms such as Everflow. Some recipients process information under their own privacy policies and may use it for their own permitted purposes.

We may also disclose information when reasonably necessary to comply with law or legal process, protect people or our rights, investigate misuse, or complete a business transaction such as a merger or transfer of assets.

We do not offer customer lists for purchase. However, disclosures of online identifiers and activity to advertising partners may be considered a “sale,” “sharing,” or processing for targeted advertising under certain privacy laws, even without a cash payment. The legal classification and available rights depend on the practices involved and the law that applies.

4. Cookies, analytics, and advertising

We use cookies, pixels, scripts, and similar technologies to measure visits and interactions, attribute affiliate activity, and support advertising. Google Tag Manager manages tracking tags; it does not itself collect your consent.

For details about these providers, visit Google’s Privacy Policy, Meta’s Privacy Policy, and Taboola’s Privacy Policy.

You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings. You can also review Google’s advertising preferences and the advertising preferences available in your Meta account. Google provides a Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on. These choices have different scopes, may be browser or device specific, and may not stop every form of tracking or advertising. Blocking cookies may affect attribution or some website features.

5. Affiliate links and other websites

Our content may contain affiliate links. If you follow a link and make a qualifying purchase, we may earn a commission. Affiliate partners may collect click, device, campaign, and transaction information to track referrals and prevent fraud.

When you visit a merchant, advertiser, or other third-party website, its own privacy policy applies. We do not control those websites or their data practices. Please review their notices before submitting personal or payment information.

6. Email communications

If we offer email subscriptions and you subscribe, we may send newsletters, promotional content, and affiliate recommendations. Marketing emails will provide an unsubscribe method. You can also contact us to request removal from marketing communications. We may retain limited suppression information to respect an unsubscribe request. Replies to inquiries and other necessary service messages may still be sent.

7. Retention and security

We retain information for as long as reasonably needed for the purposes described in this policy, including responding to requests, maintaining records, meeting legal obligations, and resolving disputes. Retention varies by data type, provider, account settings, and legal requirements. Analytics, advertising, and affiliate providers may maintain information under their own retention practices.

We use reasonable safeguards appropriate to the information we handle. No internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure.

8. Your choices and privacy rights

Depending on your location and whether applicable laws cover our business and processing, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or obtain a copy of personal information, withdraw consent where processing relies on consent, or opt out of certain sales, sharing, targeted advertising, or profiling. Some laws also provide a right to appeal a denied request or complain to a supervisory authority. These rights are subject to exceptions and applicable requirements.

California residents may have rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended, where it applies, including rights to know, delete, correct, and opt out of sale or sharing, and a right not to receive discriminatory treatment for exercising those rights. Other states may provide similar rights. This policy does not represent that every privacy statute applies to our business.

To make a request, including a request relating to advertising disclosures, email info@717consultinggroup.com and describe the request and the website involved. We may need information to verify your identity or an authorized agent’s authority where permitted or required. We will respond within the time required by applicable law. Do not send passwords, payment-card details, or government identification numbers by email.

9. Browser privacy signals

Traditional Do Not Track signals and Global Privacy Control (GPC) are different mechanisms. This website does not currently provide an automated response to traditional Do Not Track signals. GPC can communicate an opt-out preference recognized by certain privacy laws. Where applicable law requires it, qualifying opt-out preference signals must be honored. This policy does not itself activate signal detection or block tracking tags. You can contact us about your privacy preferences using the email above.

10. Children’s privacy

Our content is intended for an adult audience. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, contact us so we can investigate and take appropriate steps to delete it.

11. International visitors

We operate in the United States. Information may be processed in the United States or other countries where our providers operate, and those countries may have different privacy protections. Where applicable law requires a legal basis, consent, or safeguards for processing or international transfers, those requirements apply. Visiting this website does not by itself constitute consent to all processing described in this policy.

12. Policy updates

We may update this policy as our practices change. We will update the date above and provide additional notice where required by law. Updates do not remove rights you have under applicable law.
